On the picture side: I intend to outsource some of the drawing work. In this case, it helps a lot to have reference shapes and visual angles so the artist can work more efficiently.
The first post is not quite right, and the 2nd is missing an arm. So here is an updated model.
Here I've added a job for the robot to do. It's going to assemble this simple box by inserting the circuit board and putting the endcap on.
It would actually do the work on a desk, so here are those images.
I've also added some small cameras on tripods that either mount to the robot or free-stand on a surface. This is to get a better visual angle of the work.
I stumbled on the OAK-D-Lite when searching for robot depth perception. However, it’s all conceptual at the moment. Work on the visual system is still quite a way off. This kind of depth perception might not be necessary. The tripods are made up.
The tiny cameras make the robot look gigantic, so I've added a standard 300mm/12inch ruler for scale.
